Music at our school

This year, we are offering extra-curricular musical opportunities to our students. We have a Vocal Ensemble, a Symmes Jr Concert Band, and a D'Arcy Senior Concert Band. Please see the rehearsal schedule below.

For Students

Grade 8 Mus204

Students cover 3 units: Music Appreciation, Theory & Music Reading, and Guitar Performance.

Grade 9 Music

Students cover many topics surrounding theory and performance. Students develop skills on a particular instrument.

Grade 10 Music

Students continue their music learning on particular instrument. We cover more advanced music theory concepts, performance techniques and ensemble playing.

Band & Choir

Vocal Ensemble: Day 3 & 7 lunch
Symmes Band: Tuesday morning 7:45
D'Arcy Band: Wednesday morning 7:45 & Day 4 lunch
